The Apostle John writes of “a white horse; and he that sat upon him” (Revelation 19:11). The rider John beholds is the Son of God, who “in righteousness … doth judge and make war.” His coming is not in weakness but in power – not in suffering but in glory – not to be judged by unrighteous men, as at His first coming, but to judge unrighteous men righteously.
